- Case stories
Collaboration is an interactive process, in both research and education, which creates mutual benefit of the participating parties. By collaborating with companies, organizations and government agencies can lead to research being commercialized more rapidly and more knowledge for all parties involved. Cooperation can take different forms, from large projects with several partners, cooperation between two sole partners.
The Innovation office can be a support-function throughout the collaboration process; from identifying suitable cooperation partners, formulate collaborative projects by facilitating meetings/workshops or establish work processes to develop plans for the project, to support the development of the cooperation agreement
Together with other actors at Chalmers, the Innovation office works to establish meeting venues where the outside world issues, challenges and ideas (eg from companies and agencies) linked to important societal challenges are matched with specific research teams in areas of expertise (Rendezvous Avancez).
