- Case stories
To efficiently communicate research-based knowledge with society is an important form of utilisation which aims to influence attitudes and encourage that innovation processes are created. By systematically and structurally communicating utilisation activities to selected target groups individual researchers’ or research centers’ competiveness and attractiveness is increased.
The Innovation office can help you with packaging in what manner, to what extent and what the utilisation consisted of, for example, through so-called "impact stories". In such a communication tool, the impact on society is described based on its reach, meaning the number of enterprises, government agencies, other organizations and / or individuals who have effected, and its importance, that is, the extent to which the impact of research has influenced or been used through the development of products, services, changes in policies, practices, discovered circumstances, problems, and solutions for businesses, government agencies, other organizations and/or individuals.
We work together with the communicators at the departments and research centers and as well as the central unit for communications at Chalmers to development tools and activities in this field.
