On the 12th June, EIT Raw Materials communicated the results of the applications submitted during the spring. Chalmers got funded 6 projects out of 9 proposals submitted. Among them, Chalmers has the coordinating role for two projects.
The organisations and departments to carry on the work are Chalmers Industry Technique, Industrial and Material Science, Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. On top of that one business project presented by Burcak Ebin, Post Doc, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Industrial Materials Recycling has been selected for the Business Idea Competition and was invited to join the Bootcamps this summer.
Katarina Öquist, Business Developer at the Northern Colocation Center was also here for visit mid-June and discussions around cross-KIC developments and activities were on top of the agenda in regards to the strong involvement of Chalmers in the Climate KIC, and the preparation of the Mobility KIC.
